Kenn´s dissertation explored space, place and pedagogy through the lens of critical theory.

Kenn continues to consult on the design of learning environments by providing an interpretive interface between students and teachers and design professionals at all levels of education.

His particular research interest focuses around criticial spatial literacy and
critical regionalism, expressed through schools as learning environments which can be read as cultural interpretive centres.
