Rubida.net is a portal for Rubida Pty Ltd. Rubida was created in 1996 by Dr Kenn Fisher to incorporate separate interests of educational facilities design and viticulture into one company. Rubida has two main strategic interests, Rubida Research and the Pinot Noir label Norton Summit Vineyard.

Rubida Research specialises in continuing practical research into the design of learning environments, through the work of Dr Kenn Fisher as a consultant to the education industry in association with Mulloway Studio.

Norton Summit Vineyards were planted in 1997 in Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills South Australia. The 3.5 acre vineyard is situated on a 16 acre property with a predominently north-west aspect. The first vintage was in 2001, with 50 people attending the pick and crush, in a year where the crop was modest with the fruit producing a mild fruity pinot. The 2004 vintage was picked on Easter Sunday, a warm autumn day, with the vines bearing about 6 tonnes of fruit.
